Welcome to Quilune: Note App ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding any information collected when you use our mobile application (the "App").

Unlike traditional note-taking applications, Quilune: Note App is architected with a local-first, offline philosophy. We believe that your thoughts, notes, and records should belong solely to you, kept safely on your own device.

2. Information We Collect

All notes, custom settings, sketches, and files you create within the App are stored directly on your mobile device's local database. We do not have access to your database, and your data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it or configure a cloud backup manually.

3. Device Permissions

To provide core note-taking features, the App requires certain hardware and software permissions on your device. Here is a clear explanation of what we access and why:

• Microphone / Audio Recording

  Required to let you create voice notes and record audio clips within the App. The audio files are recorded and processed locally, and they are saved directly onto your device.

• Photo Library & Camera

  Required if you choose to attach photos or images to your notes. The App only accesses images that you explicitly select using the image picker interface.

• Storage / Media Files

  Required to write, read, edit, and delete notes, audio recordings, and attached images within the App's local directories on your device.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your notes and attachments are stored locally using SQLite databases and SharedPreferences on Android and iOS. This ensures your data remains secure behind your device's built-in operating system security layers.

Backup & Restore: Because your data is stored completely offline, we cannot recover your notes if your device is lost, stolen, or damaged. We highly recommend using the manual export feature or setting up your own secure backups to prevent accidental data loss.

5. Third-Party Services

The App is 100% ad-free and contains no marketing trackers, analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics), or user profiling scripts. We respect your attention and your privacy.

Optional Google Drive Backup: If you choose to enable the optional Google Drive backup feature, the App will prompt you to connect your Google account. This connection is made directly between your device and Google's servers. The App only accesses a dedicated app-specific folder on your Google Drive to save and retrieve backup files. We do not access, view, or store your Google account credentials or any other files in your Google Drive.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is suitable for all age groups. Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not knowingly collect, request, or maintain any information from children under the age of 13, in compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR.

7. Your Rights

Since all your data resides locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• Access, modify, or delete your notes and recordings directly from the App user interface at any time.
• Revoke device permissions (such as microphone or photo access) via your device's System Settings.
• Erase all App data permanently by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage in your device's settings.
